I’m back with another song that has been stuck in my head/speaking to me lately.

I honestly have a love-hate relationship with this song.

I know that the overall ideal is that this is a loving committed relationship that neither wants to see end and the “we’re not promised tomorrow” is that one of them could die.

However…..

It also brings up memories of relationships past when one is holding on to something that is clearly slipping away. Which was for the best as time would tell, but hella painful in the midst. I often identified more with “I’m going to love you with all I have right now, because you might choose to leave tomorrow.”

Maybe I’m the only one.
