Understanding the Lyrics – I Ain’t Worried

I’m back with another song that has been stuck in my head/speaking to me lately.

Okay, I admit, I have NOT seen Top Gun: Maverick, yet. My Husband and My Child went and saw it in the theater and really enjoyed it. I will see it when it comes to streaming soon, but I never felt like I was missing out.

I honestly thought this song was from OneRepublic’s albums from the last 2000’s (’07, ’09, something) because its seemed so familiar. But, no, I looked it up and it was written for the movie. My bad. In my defense, it definitely sounds like a OneRepublic song….

At any rate – I love this song, the tempo, the message, the tune. All of it.
