  • Book Review – Late Bloomers
Late Bloomers by Deepa Varadarajan is a quick read about a family who learns from each other, faces difficulties together (in the long run), and learns (together) that honesty actually can solve a lot of your problems. Definitely recommend picking this one up.
  • Book Review – The Bloody Brick Road
The Bloody Brick Road by Maude Royer is a disappointing horror/thriller retelling of The Wizard of Oz with a rushed ending and little horror or suspense payoff. Not really worth your time.
  • Book Review – Your (favorite) Rich BFF Duo
Rich AF and Well Endowed by Vivian Tu are GREAT additions to any library, with useful, timeless financial advice coming from someone who knows what she’s talking about without being judgmental or pushing in any selfish direction.
  • Book Review – Hand-Fasting and Other Hazards
Hand-Fasting and Other Hazards by L.L. Campbell is a stand-alone story by the author of Tricky Magic and Tricky Princess, but the plot that was both boring at times and overwhelming and rushed at others leave this one as something of a miss.
  • Book Review – Lost Souls Meet
Lost Souls Meet Under a Full Moon by Mizuki Tsujimura is SUCH an amazing reading experience. As a small series of interconnected short stories that when it all comes together, the ending is breathtaking. I HIGHLY recommend this one.
  • Book Review – Second Act
Second Act by Artemis Price is a great, cozy read with well-formed characters with real, human emotions and flaws living in a believable storyline and plot. Definitely one to pick up. Happy ever afters for everyone here!

  1. I loved Six of Crows, that would be a good re-read. Sadly, I barely get around to keeping up with series, much less re-reading them! I enjoyed City of Brass but didn’t get to the next one.

  2. Good luck with all these series! I’m not much for SFF so I haven’t read any of them, although I did read the first SCYTHE book. I’m a Shusterman fan, but I just didn’t love it so I didn’t continue with the series. I seem to be in the minority in that opinion, though. I hope you enjoy the series and all these others.

    Happy TTT!
