If you’re not on the Houston Insider list, it’s about time you sign up! It’s a fantastic program coordinated by the team at @visit_houston to to empower Houstonians to be ambassadors for their hometown, fall in love with their city, know all the cool things it has to offer, and ignite their passion to explore. I’ve been an insider for about a year now and it’s been AWESOME (remember those tickets to Cirque du Soliel 😍). — Normally their newsletters are packed with sneak peaks to new restaurants and invites to exclusive events. And right now the Houston Insider team has been sending out incredible packets of useful information on how to navigate these unprecedented circumstances. They have lists of companies that are hiring, streaming events, academic resources for parents schooling kids at home, ideas for at home activities (like amazing Houston coloring book pages!!), as well as information on where to donate and how to volunteer your time. — To sign up for the Houston Insider program is easy and free! Just download the “Houston Insider” app, complete the quiz, and submit your email to get on the list. It’s well worth your time! Link in bio with more details on the program. Tune in today at 1:30pm as we chat with a rep from @visit_houston on highlights of the Houston Insider program and more resources for Houstonians during COVID-19. — Comment below with what you’re #MissingHou and any question you have and we’ll try to get them answered! Can’t make the chat? Watch the full episodes on our IGTV channel. — This #HoustonStrong art installation was created by the @thecolorcondition a few weeks after Harvey in #DiscoveryGreen.
